OBYS

OBYS Robot is an affordable, user-friendly and multi-functional robot that can be deployed as a waiter in restaurants and cafes, or undertake tasks such as the dissemination of brochure and visual marketing materials. An accurate autonomous navigation system enables OBYS Robot to deliver with high efficiency and effectiveness.

Waiterbot

WaiterBot is a fully autonomous full-time restaurant staff capable of automatically delivering food items from the kitchen to the table. It is equipped with two separate auto-balancing storage areas - for fresh food items and used cutlery. WaiterBot can load and unload items using its 6-degrees-of-freedom robotic arm, which is also equipped with a drinking water dispenser system. The team developed the OBYS robot prototype in the IDA Labs as well as received mentorship from the IDA Labs team.

    Autonomous Battlefield Extraction Robot

    Autonomous Battlefield Extraction Robot (Aber) is designed to provide a safer and more efficient way to extract casualties from the battlefield. Aber is also able to carry out surveillance operations and bring humanitarian aid to disaster stricken areas, rescue victims from collapsed buildings, toxic or radioactive areas.

  • Steel & Muscle

    Mobile Manipulator System


    Steel & Muscle is a remote-controlled robotic mobile manipulator that can perform tasks such as surveillance, data collection, monitoring, bomb disposal and rescue missions. Its four independent flipper arms offers high mobility and agility as the robot can operate on complex terrains and overcome obstacles easily by crawling over.

  • LAW Warrior

    Amphibious Voice Recognition Surveillance Robot

    LAW Warrior - Land, Air, Water Warrior as its name suggest can operate in any of the three medium. Highly mobile and adaptable to the surrounding environment, LAW Warrior can be easily deployed autonomously for surveillance, security and disaster recovery operations.

  • Solar Powered Quadcopter

     


    Unlike traditional quadcopters which are solely battery powered, Solar Powered Quadcopter utilises both battery and solar power to fly. When the quadcopter lands, the solar power absorbed is used to charge the battery, allowing Solar Powered Quadcopter to fly longer distances to execute its missions and recharge itself without requiring any power stations.

  • AutoBot

    Indoor Solar Powered Surveillance Robot

    AutoBot is a warehouse surveillance robot that is powered by indoor solar energy from artificial lightings. By harvesting solar energy from indoor ambient light source, AutoBot's batteries can be charged anywhere in the warehouse where lightings are abundant and need not be tied down to a fixed charging station which is inconvenient and consume more power. AutoBot's surveillance and fire-fighting capabilities enhances the security of a warehouse.

  • RCAV

    Surveillance Quadcopter System


    Designed to relay digital information using multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), RCAV is a system of low cost quadcopters which are able to transmit and receive images wirelessly within a small radius. This overcomes the problem of transmission obstruction due to obstacles which prevent radio establishment. This is useful both to provide alternative UAV surveillance method on military field and to bridge communications on rescue missions during disasters.
